This business allows anyone to rent an actor that will pretend to be a father, mother, wife, husband or any essential role that an individual may feel is lacking in their lives. These roles can go on indefinitely as long as one is willing to pay for the services and sustain the lie. The founder of the company, Ishii Yuichi , gave a startling statement in an interview, as he spoke about being hired to act as a father to a girl, a role he has been playing for twelve years. The interviewer posed this question; “How do you think she would feel if she discovered the truth?” Yuichi responded by making this statement; “I think she would be shocked, if the client never reveals the truth I must continue playing the role indefinitely. By: Steph Neres People overuse this phrase to keep others from talking to them about things that they are doing wrong. And oftentimes, the advisers (me and you), we get tired of it. Although I really want to talk about people who love to use this phrase, today we will talk to the advisers. The battle with self is the greatest one. It almost seems like we wish to lose not one chance to make ourselves look good. In the case of advisers, it comes like this: We want to tell our friends about their faults so that they can recognize that there is a right way. This all sounds so amazing but most of the times, our motives are purely selfish. I will say this clearly that the reason that we bring others down is so that we can seem to be better. Example: We would tell a man that he dresses poorly. Why? Simply because we have a standard of how to dress in mind. And our way is “OBVIOUSLY” the right way. As a Christian, I have always been grateful for the faith I have in Christ. I often wonder how individuals can maneuver daily life in this crazy world without Christ. Diva or Delicately Comely?

By: Nastassia Newell As the lights become dim and the runway edge lighting comes on, she can be seen walking down the catwalk in a swift predatory sway. She seemingly exudes confidence; her attire is from top designers and she is modeling their latest collections. Though fashion week endures only for the week, the outfits showcased on the catwalk will set the year’s trends for women worldwide. A common term used to describe her is ‘diva’. A diva is defined as a “self-important person who is temperamental and difficult to please”. A striking contrast to the woman described in  1 Timothy 2:9,”  Paul is impressed by the Holy Spirit to admonish women and he says ,  “in like manner also, that woman adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety”.  Paul further completes this verse by admonishing women as to what should be avoided,  “not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array ”.
